Growing up I spent my youth as a competitive swimmer completing at the Provincial and National Level from the time I was 5 until my university days. During high school I was also a rower competing internationally, ran cross-country, and mountain biked, including competing in a 24 hour relay mountain bike race.
I now find my life full of joy as a father of 3 boys, husband to an amazing and supportive wife.
Some how I still find time to complete multiply IRONMAN 70.3 finisher and IRONMAN events.
My journey through triathlon has been one of the most difficult challenges I have chosen to take on. I couldn't have made it though without the support of not only my family but also without the direction of my coach. I want to help people become the best version of themselves. I feel that if you are healthy, and happy, you can be your best. There is something about the consistency of training and the challenge of reaching goals that just makes us better. I want to help guide and support you through that journey, and help you make it to your event, happy and healthy, and fit and fresh.

I firmly believe that swimming is a life skill that should be developed at the earliest ages. Swimming is a great exercise with low impact on joints that can be done trough all stages of life. It is also the part of triathlon that scares most people, and the part that is take the least seriously. This is where I come in. I want to help develop your swimming so you can start your triathlon with confidence, and enter T1 feeling ready to take on the bike and run.
